On Tuesday 8th September, the I.T Diploma got off to a flying start at Doncaster South City Learning Centre.

Damian said: “We’re delighted to be involved with the Diplomas in Doncaster, and with it being the first year of the programme, it just adds to the excitement. The enthusiastic students got off to an impressive start. Utilising their ‘flip’ handheld cameras and mobile Netbooks they had a ‘hands on’ approach to their first day, and this will be the focus of the course – especially the time they spend here at CLC South.”

The Diploma in IT is an exciting and flexible qualification for 14-19 year olds, designed in partnership with universities and employers. It reflects the blend of business, technical and interpersonal skills needed in modern IT professional roles. The Diploma in IT will prepare young people for further study or work through a blend of theoretical and applied learning.
